Agreement

By using Plumline, the free online solver at plumline.online or the Google Sheets add-on, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use it. Plumline is free.

What you may do

Use Plumline for personal or commercial purposes, with any number of models or spreadsheets, without payment or registration.

What you may not do

• Redistribute or resell Plumline as your own.
• Disrupt, overload or interfere with its operation for others.
• Use it in violation of applicable law or, where relevant, Google's terms.

Results and responsibility

Plumline attempts to find the best solution supported by the model you provide, through the online grid or a spreadsheet. Depending on the model size, numerical conditions and solving limits, it may return an optimal solution, a feasible solution without proven optimality, an incomplete-search status, or a proven infeasibility result. The online solver also lets you undo the last paste or structural deletion in the grid; it does not keep a full edit history. It cannot judge whether the model correctly represents your situation: a model built on wrong figures, missing constraints or mistranslated intent will produce an answer that fits the model but not reality.

Decisions taken on its output remain yours. Review the model the panel shows you before solving, and the constraint check it shows you afterwards.

The add-on writes values into cells you designate. Google Sheets keeps its own version history and the panel offers an undo for its most recent write, but you are responsible for keeping copies of work you cannot afford to lose.

No warranty

Plumline is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or able to read every model or spreadsheet.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use Plumline.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Availability and changes

Plumline may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time. These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
